Studies have shown that Guggal promotes healty cholesterol, triglycerides, increases HDL, and clears LDL from the liver both by binding to extra fats in the gut and normalzing thyroid gland funtion. According to Ayurvedic texts, Guggal is said to prevent sluggish metabolism especially with respect to fats.
